My advice is: Always be cognizent of your production time.

We only have so much of it in a week, and it’s amazing to realize how much we can spend it consuming others’ work rather than creating it on our own.

New technology has made it even easier to get lost in a maze of consumption. You really do have to work hard to put up those barriers.

It’s easy to procrastinate doing the hard work, but if it isn’t hard then it might not be meaningful.

Hi Natalie! Thanks so much for dropping by. I so agree Ken nails it. Growing up as a right-brain creative type, I was fortunate to have had a school that really fostered by strengths. Nowadays - all three of my kids have been appreciably underserved in that dept. Fortunately, they live in a house that completely “normalizes” and in fact elevates the creative path. We’ll have to compare kid notes someday;)

I can highly recommend “The Element” as a resource for getting to find that sweet spot between where you find your flow and where the value for your business lies…especially as a mother to three children, how important is it to remember that the system is really nurturing only one type of thinking?
